Hello all

Just a quick update regarding the Heaven's Grave Steam release - the game will be available on Steam (for Windows) by the end of August.  I'll post here with a firm release date once I have one.

Not exactly, but it has made enough to cover Steam's related costs and, since I need these funds sooner rather than later if I am to continue work on 'Thorns of War', I am pressing forward with a Steam release in hopes that it may sell on there.

It's a shame, especially when I am unsure as the reason it is not doing as well as I'd hoped. But I knew this was a possibility when I began this whole visual novel writing venture - I'll just have to stick it out for as long as I can and see if things pick up ^_^

I've only finished Kien's route, but I'm buying 3 copies on steam for 3 of my VN friends, I hope it starts doing better because it is definitely my favorite game of yours so far, and I LOVED TROS. 

I still need to write up my full review for you guys, but I need to finish Tai's route (which I'm currently playing this weekend) and then the last one.  I have so much to say about it.  I'll make sure to buy a copy for myself on steam too so I can leave a review there as well.

Ah, it's sweet that you plan to buy copies for friends - is this something you friend group does often? Like a VN book club? 

And thank you for your kind words - I am glad are enjoying the game and feedback is always welcome.

As for buying a game for yourself on Steam - I appreciate the thought, but it hardly seems fair you have to buy your own copy twice. Besides, there will be Steam keys available for anyone who made an itch purchase.

Of course, I'm not going to say 'no' to a Steam review ^_^

oh awesome, I didn't realize we got a steam key, that's awesome!  And yeah, if we find a VN we really like we'll sometimes buy it for the others!  I'll make sure to post my review on lemmasoft when I'm done with it as well, I just replayed the common route and got into Tai's route proper, but I have a few busy weeks coming up so I'm not sure when I'll get to finish, but it will hopefully be soon.
