Could you please tell me when this game will be available on Steam? You might not know, but itch is blocked in some countries. Tracking games there, much less purchasing them, is nearly impossible. In this regard, perhaps you should start answering players' questions about the first Steam game to reduce confusion. It's rather odd that players have to explain things to each other when the developer is active here, yet buyers can't use it.
I'm a little confused by the part about skills in the description, particularly the "retaining the nine from the previous game" part. I don't remember The Rose of Segunda having any skills.
It means the nine personality traits as defined by the three choices early in The Rose of Segunda. They were, as I recall, "Scholarly, Roguish, or Slovenly", "Cunning, Witty, or Diplomatic", and "Commanding, Strong, or Lecherous".
Ah, I never even knew those existed in Rose. That puts those early choices in a much different light. Like with the very first choice, I always thought that by removing the whiskey, I was keeping the arithmetic book, making Iolanthe smarter, but it seems I was doing the opposite.
The love I have for this game is honestly beyond words. I’ve been scrolling through the comments for hours literally until I reached the very last one. Reading all these reviews has me feeling both scared and incredibly excited to finally play it once it’s on Steam.
I have just one question and I’m really sorry if it’s been asked a hundred times already (I know it has, especially since I read through all the comments!). But I just have to ask will Fred’s route be released sometime in 2025?
I saw a comment mentioning that you plan to continue writing his route in September, and it honestly gives me hope. I know it’s been a long journey seven years is no joke and I truly respect the time, effort, and heart you’ve poured into this. Please don’t feel pressured! I’m just genuinely curious if Fred’s route might be coming this year or maybe next. . . PS I'm not kidding when i said I reached the end I really did scroll down until the very last one.
Playing through the demo and looking at your release schedule, I have been wondering: Will there be a "No One" route? Where the MC ended up with no marriage or RO in the first game?
From what I recall of previous versions of this page and discussion, it was planned at one point but got merged with the Loveless route. (Maybe in part since with no marriage or romance the MC doesn't really have a point of connection as an 'in' to the plot?)
Sorry to bother you (yet again!), but I just wanted to ask about Frederique's route. What's the word count? What's the expected/predicted/wanted final word count you're aiming for? Can we get an estimate for when we'll get his route?
Again, I'm very sorry for pestering you (and I hope I'm not coming off as rude/pushy), I'm just REALLY eagerly awaiting his route. He's the only one I'm willing to choose/play, since he's my favorite and I can't wait for his route to finally be out (I've replayed the DEMO version of his route at least 17 times so far, I'm desperate)!
I love the part when Duchess di Parisi goes on about their supposed "aberrance" and how absolutely ADORABLE Frederique gets/pouts when he has to pull away from the kiss with the MC (the "a day out with my sister or-" was CRIMINAL in the best way possible-I LOVE YOUR WRITING, IT'S PERFECT). Also, the "Venetian spies" choice was HILARIOUS.
*Bonus, him calling her Minette still, even after the events of "The Rose Of Segunda" is EVERYTHING (I hope I actually understood correctly that it's a play on "mine", because if it is, you deserve a Pulitzer)

I am still here and the current word count is about 60,000 words, but my focus has had to shift of late. My mother has broken her hip and is currently bed-bound, which means I have had to move back to my childhood home to take care of her. This game will be available on Steam once it is completed, which I believe will be some time in the first half of next year.
